We love the very timeless and classic designs of British designer Tim Gosling @goslingdesignltd and are huge fans of any Art Deco motif as well. This hallway/passageway exudes that sexy, classic atmosphere that makes us swoon.

Great design also leads you through a space. Aren't you dying to see what is beyond those lovely paneled doors?

Soft, yet decidedly strong.

Inspired by the Imperial architecture of the striking 1930s Monument of Marcello Piacentini in Italy, the Empire rug, also available as a runner, reflects the harmonious proportions and balance typified by the era.
“The strength and classical simplicity with Italian architecture of the 1930s is fascinating – its direct link to the country’s Roman Imperial past. Its triumphal arches and geometric forms make it a rich area in which to find inspiration.”- @timjgosling

Inspired by the culture and style of 1930’s France, Salon Deco by @goslingdesignltd echoes the form of the chair backs seen across Paris salons during the Art Deco period. Angular lines are overlaid in a palette of metallic silver and gold silk yarns, to create a modern and unique rug design.
Join us tomorrow as we adventure behind the scenes with @timjgosling in his London home to peek inside his creative process. Watch this space.

“The pair of English walnut chairs were design by Tim Gosling to compliment the dining table he designed a few years earlier. The collection of plaster statues and busts has grown over the years. His latest is a delicious find, the 'Laocoön and His Sons', a sculpture excavated in Rome in 1506 . The original is now in the Vatican. Many grand tour plaster casts were created during the 18th century. The rug is designed by Tim for the Rug Company and is based on the Radio Waves of the BBC. Tim has a passion for using exceptional antiques from different periods to create a vibrant energy and visual excitement.” @goslingdesignltd @timjgosling
